Hiplife musician, Sarkodie is being investigated by the Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for allegedly trying to register a stolen vehicle.
The vehicle in question, an Infiniti Salon car had been reported missing and when the rapper went to the Driver Vehicle and Licensing Authority (DVLA) to register, the Police was notified.
Sarkodie together with his lawyer were subsequently invited for questioning but were later granted bail.
Public relations officer of the CID, Joseph Benefo Darkwa who confirmed the incident said; “We had information that Sarkodie was going to register a stolen car so we immediately followed it up and we invited him for questioning and he complied so as we speak, investigations are still going into the matter,” he said to Joy FM.
