MTN and TECNO unveil S3M mobile phone

MTN Ghana in partnership with TECNO Mobile, has unveiled the new S3M phone, the latest addition to their smart phone collections.

The new S3M phone offers excellent features of Back Camera and Front Camera, Dual Camera and speakers, and has a 4GB memory and 512MB Random access Memory among other exciting features.

Equipped with 4.2 Android, the device supports 3G networks, allowing users to experience unlimited Internet connectivity from MTN.

Users of the device will get 200 MB of data each month for 12 months, together with 65 minutes of voice call each month for 12 months.

Derrick Nkrumah, General Manager Operations, TECNO Mobile, speaking at the launch, said the company is upgrading its care centres to provide after sales support to customers.

He said TECNO mobile would continue to set the pace in the local mobile phone market, with an incredible goodwill amongst consumers.

“It has become one of the top three mobile phone brands in Africa,” he added.

Nana Osei Afrifa, Services and Data Manager, MTN said customers, who purchase the new device will have the opportunity to enjoy unbeatable offers from MTN.

He noted that MTN works towards achieving the vision of “leading the delivery of a bold new digital world” to the customer adding that MTN is investing over 311 million Ghana Cedis this year, to enhance the network infrastructure.

“We will continue to add to our 3G and fibre network, so customers can take full advantage of the digital age.

Nana Afrifa said he was excited with the partnership of TECNO mobile to make available the smart device that would enable people with busy lifestyles to experience the convenience that technology brings.

He said, it was their quest to continue increasing the number of data compatible devices and smart phone on the network.

He said, in March this year, MTN had recorded over one million smart device users on their network; 12 per cent of these numbers were users of TECNO mobile devices.
