The nation’s leading fast moving consumer goods company, Unilever Ghana has relaunched the Close Up toothpaste.

The new paste which is called Close Up Deep Action comes in a vibrant and trendy packaging, a formulation which contains active zinc mouthwash and micro-shine crystals that offers superior fresh breath to boost one’s confidence.

The active zinc mouthwash fights up to 99% of germs, giving consumers up to 12 hours of fresh breath whilst the micro shine crystals are safe easily dissolvable ‘micro beads’ that scrub away the stains on the surface of your teeth giving you a whiter smile.

Marketing Director of Unilever Ghana, Clarence Nartey explained that the freshness of breath last long “so our consumers can have the confidence to make the first move and get closer to their friends and loved ones.”

For him the rebranded and repackaged Close Up will help in “celebrating connectivity and the power of human relationships and the confidence to get closer to others especially those who you love fueled by the freshness Close Up provides.”

He said this during the relaunch of Close Up last Friday.

“Close Up is the No. 1 gel toothpaste in Ghana and a brand designed specifically for young adults. With the aim of always striving to remain relevant to its targeted clients manufacturers of Close Up always provide the needed superior freshness to get closer to others especially the opposite sex.”

Mr. Nartey promised that they will continue to remain relevant to their young target audience “hence we will be rolling out our subsequent activations on selected campuses across the country” he said.
