Ghanaian midfielder Andre Ayew has been voted as Olympique Marseille’s player of the month of April.
Ayew’s contribution of three goals and a key assist in the month was enough to had him the award and 45 percent of votes ahead of team-mates Pierre-Andre Gignac and Mathieu Valbuena who polled 15 and 9 percent respectively.
Ayew scored hat-trick at home against Ajaccio and went further to turn goal-maker as he set up Valbuena in OM’s 3-2 away win at Montpellier on the 11th of April.
It is Ayew’s second player of the month after he won it October 2013.
