Vodafone took a giant leap ahead of its competitors to emerge “Telecommunications Company of the Year” for the third consecutive year at the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) awards held over the weekend.

The award which is the telecom industry’s most revered accolade, directly affirms Vodafone’s leadership in creating customer-focused and value-driven products and services, innovative campaigns and unrivalled customer experience on Ghana’s best 3G plus network.

[contextly_sidebar id=”KdDgqdWOHPK7GSE2wgKClkmMwgiIdrHC”]This also makes Vodafone the only telecoms company in the country to have bagged the award three times in a row.

Commenting on the award, Haris Broumidis, Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Ghana said:

“This is testament to our leadership in customer service, innovation and strategic marketing insights. As a company, our strategy has always remained the same – to be consistent in maintaining the highest standard of network quality for our customers. We are also grateful to CIMG for subjecting the telecoms industry to effective scrutiny backed by ample empirical evidence before selecting the winner. Our consistency over the last three years is certainly highly commendable”.

Since entering the telecoms sector in 2008, Vodafone has been instrumental in the total transformation of the industry; leading the way in innovation, creativity and thought-leadership.

The company has also been at the forefront of delivering a level of adaptability and a touch of modernity to what was otherwise a phlegmatic institution.
