Domestic Airliner Starbow has won again the coveted domestic airline of the year, in Ghana for the year, 2014 by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) for the 2nd time in a row.

This was at the 26th National Marketing Performance Awards 2014 at the Banquet Hall, State House in Accra.

In an interview with Citi Business News after receiving the award, the Chief Executive Officer of Starbow, James Eric Antwi, said Starbow has won the coveted award for the 2nd time considering the challenges the company went through in that year.

“I dedicate this award to our customers who have had faith in us even in these challenging times and all the staff of the company who have been committed to the course of the company all these years.”

He also used the opportunity to pay a glowing tribute to the shareholders of the company for their unflinching support. According to him, this award was also made possible by the unwavering patronage Starbow receives from its esteemed passengers.

This event was held last Saturday at the Banquet Hall, State House, in Accra.

This particular event category was initiated in 2013 and Starbow won the maiden award and again as the best in 2014.

Starbow Airlines this year received approval to fly into seven countries in the sub-region, including Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Benin and is currently working around the clock to begin its sub regional operations with Sierra Leone.
