A commercial bus driver on Monday night crashed his vehicle into an FBN Bank branch on the Spintex road in Accra.
The driver sustained some injuries but there was no other casualty because there were no passengers in the vehicle.
The precincts of the bank had no persons around.

According to him, the driver was either drunk or sleepy.
“There were others moving at top speed ahead of the bus driver but when they noticed the speed at which the bus driver was coming, they all slowed for him and he lost control in the process. The driver was coming from Ashaiman; and from the impact of the accident he cannot go without an injury. It is either he was drank or he was sleeping” the eyewitness suggested.
In July, a similar incident happened in an Ecobank branch in Sunyani, in the Brong Ahafo Region.
A female customer caused extensive damage to the bank’s property after she accidentally run her car into the banking hall, smashing all the glass doors at the entrance.
