The Police went to the scene to verify on the information and when we went there we realised that it was true two people had been lynched so we had to convey them to the Police Hospital for autopsy.”

ACP Joseph Oklu said investigations into the incident are ongoing to arrest the culprits.

“Investigations are underway. Usually when such a thing happen and you go to the scene, the Police around are very tight-lipped. They will not want to give any information. That not withstanding we have set up our machinery in progress to investigate and find out the perpetrators of this crime and let the law handle them appropriately”
