Ghana’s Black Queens have landed in Accra after winning the gold medal in the women’s football tournament in the All Africa Games that took place in Congo Brazzaville.
The Queens beat Cameroon 1-0 in Thursday’s final to claim the top prize and exact revenge over the Cameroonians who denied Ghana a place in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

The male football team, the Black Meteors, failed to defend their gold medal from four years ago and they eliminated at the group stages.
The All Africa Games ended on Saturday in Brazzaville and it started on the 4th. Below are pictures of the team’s arrival.
