BA Police take over investigations into killing of Peace FM reporter

The Brong Ahafo Regional Police Command has taken over investigations into circumstances surrounding the killing of a Peace FM Reporter, King George.

[contextly_sidebar id=”P2jQKCcSxWPkkcvgDUivCSdKqCibfhPA”]The investigations were initially being handled by the Asunafo North District Police Command, under which jurisdiction the incident happened last Thursday.

According to the Public Relations Officer of the Brong Ahafo Regional Police Command, ASP Christopher Tawiah, the regional crime scene management team has been dispatched to the area to begin work in earnest.

Speaking to Citi News, ASP Tawiah said the area is currently calm.

“The regional Police command has taken over the case. The regional Police command has dispatched the crime scene team to the area to investigate the killing.”

He said those who shot the report “were unidentified people and we will try our best to identify them and arrest them.”
