UMB donates bus to Woodfield Manor School

Staff of Universal Merchant Bank (UMB), one of Ghana’s leading indigenous banks, have donated a brand new Hyundai H1 bus to the Woodfield Manor Autism and Special Needs School at Adenta in Accra.

The donation is part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility initiatives, which is centered on education.

Presenting the bus to the school, UMB Director of Finance and Administration, Kwame Adjei-Adjivonh, stated that UMB seeks to make a difference in the lives of people and that the staff of the bank are humbled and honoured to contribute to shaping the lives of the children at the school.

Madam Cornelia Boateng, proprietress and owner of the school, thanked the staff of UMB for the kind gesture and noted that the bus will significantly enhance the ability of the school to plan learning activities outside the school.
