Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge wins top award

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has been adjudged the Best Phone at the recently held TechRadar Phone Awards 2015, in London.

Samsung ran away with the top award of the night with Best Phone going to their curved flagship.

With a curved edge display, the Galaxy S6 Edge is one of the most interesting looking handsets available right now and has some impressive specs under the hood including an Exynos 7420 processor, 3GB of RAM and a beautiful 5.1-inch display.

Judges were impressed by the handset’s premium appeal and lush curves.

While front of the S6 Edge is beautifully curved, the rear is as flat as a pancake, instantly making the handset feel a lot wider.

The slight curvature of the Galaxy S6 Edge, the world’s first dual edge also setit apart from other smartphones.

Following this award, industry watchers are excited about the new Galaxy S6 Edge+,which is an upgraded version of the S6 Edge and gives users a phenomenal multimedia experience on a 5.7 inch compactly deceitfully-shaped handset.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge can charge faster than any other smartphone and supports wireless charging, there’s no real loss in trading the replaceable battery for the fantastic industrial design.

Samsung announced at its Unpacked 2015 in New York, two latest flagship additions, the Note 5 and Galaxy Edge+.The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ will be available to consumers on the Ghanaian market, in early September. Mobile phone enthusiasts in Ghana are eagerly awaiting its launch in Ghana.
