Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama, has described the death of a three-year old Syrian toddler , Aylan Kurdi and others whose bodies were washed ashore on a Turkish beach, as a “blight on the conscience of the world.”

Aylan’s body lying on the shores, broke the hearts of millions across the world, and got many more to put pressure on Europe to do something about the thousands of migrants fleeing towards them.

The death of  Aylan Kurdi and all others who have died trying to flee conflict or poverty, “is a blight on the conscience of the world” the President said in a tweet.
