The Citi FM-Metro TV outreach programme, went back to Adabraka, one of the worst affected areas in the June 3 disaster in Accra to distribute more relief items to them.
The team visited tens of households at Sahara-Odawna in Adabraka, Accra on Friday.
The beneficiaries included families identified by the National Disaster Management Organization( NADMO) as being part of the hardest hit by the June 3 flood and fire disaster.

“On June 3, I had to leave the house for two days and return later.Upon my return, all my properties in my room had been destroyed. Right now I’m totally broke, people have come to distribute relief times but I never get any, they always say the items are finished, hence I am very grateful to Citi FM for these items I have been given, I appreciate everything,” one of them remarked.
The Citi FM – Metro TV campaign was a collaboration between Citi FM and Metro TV with support from benevolent Ghanaians and companies who supported with thousands of cedis.
The project aims at bringing smiles on the faces of victims of the flood and fire disaster.
The program previously affected other residents in communities in Adabraka and Osu also in Accra.
