The Ghana Armed Forces has admitted that some of its personnel were involved in the demolition of some structures at Kojo Oku, near Millenium City in the Central Region.

The demolition reportedly led to the death of one person while two others were critically injured.

In an interview with Citi News, the Director of Public Affairs of the Ghana Armed Forces Lieutenant Colonel Aggrey-Quarshie said the exercise was intended to destroy some structures on lands belonging to some individual military officers and not the Ghana Armed Forces.

He added that there is an ongoing investigation to determine the alleged culpability of one of its men in the death of a resident.
