Arrangements for the final funeral rites of Fennec Okyere have been announced by his family.
The late Fennec Okyere was murdered in his house on Thursday 13th March, 2014 by unknown assailants.
According to the spokesperson for the family, Ursula Owusu Ekufful – MP for Ablekuma West, there will be no wake keeping.
Fennec’s body will be laid in state briefly from 7am to 9am on Saturday April 26, 2014 for mourners to pay their last respects.
The burial service will take place same day at the forecourt of Accra International Trade Fair Centre after which the body will be interred at a private burial ceremony.
On Sunday April 27, family and close friends will attend a thanksgiving service after which they will proceed to his Manet Gardens residence on the Spintex Road to conclude the funeral.
According to the family there will be no special cloth for the funeral but have asked mourners to wear anything black.
