A group that calls itself “Friends of Ato Forson” has called for need for Cassiel Ato Forson to run unopposed on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress in the Ejumako-Enyan-Essiam constituency.
[contextly_sidebar id=”LgxLAxyBWbYAGFerWSNJ4ruO2yGwuW0j”]Addressing a press conference, General Secretary of the group, Galahard Alex Andoh, said the Deputy Finance Minister should be not be challenged by anyone in the constituency.
“The media will, as of today, broadcast to the party and the people who are interested in picking nomination forms to challenge the candidacy of Cassiel Ato Baah Forson that members of this gruoup who invariably the entire membership of this party that Cassiel Forson deserves to go unopposed. They should shelve their ambitions for now in order not to incur the displeasure of this group, “he said.
Alex Andoh also said that based on his performance in the constituency, Cassiel Ato Forson deserves to be honored and that “we are of the belief that his achievements are so enormous and hence he should be allowed to go unopposed in the country.
Cassiel Ato Forson has been Member of Parliament for Ejumako-Enyan-Essiam since the 2008 elections and the group bought his nomination forms for him to contest in the parliamentary primaries.
