The District Level and Unit Committee elections will come off today in all electoral areas in the country except the Lower Manya Krobo district and a few others.

The Electoral Commission has already sent electoral materials to the various polling centers across the country.
Meanwhile, over 40,000 security personnel from the Police, Prisons, and Fire and Immigration services have been deployed to ensure order at all polling stations.
Speaking to Citi News, the Director of Public Affairs at the EC, Christian Owusu Parry said, all necessary arrangement has been put in place for the election.
