The official vehicle of Interior Minister Mark Woyongo has knocked down an old woman in Navrongo in the Upper East region.
The Toyota V8 land cruiser which was being driven by Mr. Woyongo himself knocked down the lady while he was travelling from Bolgatanga to Navrongo this [Sunday] afternoon.
[contextly_sidebar id=”6FTkdWwbefFrcDqCUexYjAzSg7MKaZ9u”]The Navrongo Municipal Police Commander, ASP Latif Nbonwura who confirmed the incident to Citi News, said investigations into the incident are ongoing.
The vehicle , with registration number NR- 2031-14 is currently under the custody of the Navrongo Police Command.
The victim, who is a teacher is also seeking medical attention at Bawku hospital.
