A local bar in Taiyuan, provincial city of Shanxi province has introduced a somewhat seductive, if not erotic, program of inviting its customers to enjoy sushi strategically placed on the body of a half-naked woman.
The practice firstly originated in Japanese culture, where it is called “#Nyotaimori”, which literally means “to serve (foods) on the female body”.
It is said to have its origins in the samurai period in Japan.
Such event is not the first in China. In June, an automobile show in north China’s Shenyang had a similar event where young models were asked to lay down on top of the cars, and spectators could enjoy sushi placed on their bodies.
