The New Patriotic Party has extended it’s condolences to the family of the late Samuel Nuamah, the Ghanaian Times journalist who lost his life in the presidential press corps accident on Thursday.
[contextly_sidebar id=”QRwujhFQj1Vt5ALjTRGaH4aF3QBKsiH2″]In statement signed by the Communications Director of the party, Nana Akomeah, the NPP said, “our hearts and thoughts also go out to the injured, some of whom are still on admission at the 37 Military Hospital. We pray for a speedy recovery for them.”
“The NPP urges members of the media fraternity, who have been shaken by this tragedy, to remain firm and continue to discharge their duties in service to God and Mother Ghana. The bonds that exist between them must be strengthened in these trying times in honour of their fallen compatriot.”
Samuel Nuamah lost his life in an accident that happened around Dawhenya when the presidential press corps were returning from covering the President’s speech at an EP Church convention in the Volta Region.
