The Co-Chair of the Coalition for Domestic Election Observers (CODEO) Professor Miranda Greenstreet has cautioned the nation against extreme partisanship which to her is the bane of Ghana’s development.

Speaking in an interview with Citi News, the CODEO Co-Chair insists there is some form of compromise required by the major political parties to ensure that there is social cohesion especially as the nation heads into the election year.

“In also coming out with what should be done at our election time, we also need to stress that it is important for this nation to avoid extreme polarization and that there should be some social cohesion for the nation and for the political parties to agree on some common  fundamentals for the nation’s interest,” she said.
