Presidential press corps involved in fatal accident

The van conveying the presidential press corps has been involved in a fatal accident.

They were returning to Accra from Ho where President John Mahama had attended the annual convention of the EP Church.

A Ghanaian Times reporter Samuel Nuamah, lost his life.

Some of the journalists on board, sustained serious injuries with about three of them said to be battling for their lives at the hospital.

Citi News has learnt that the accident occurred around Dawhenya.

About twenty journalists were said to be in the vehicle when the accident occurred.

They were travelling in a Ford bus which was not part of the presidential convoy heading to Accra.
