Tension is brewing in the Ketu North Constituency of the Volta region as some NDC constituents accuse their chairman Mr. Moses Azaglo of uneven distribution of registration booklets for the ongoing biometric exercise.

However members of the party in the Ketu North Constituency have accused their chairman Mr. Moses Azaglo of supplying the booklets to Afife and Weta Zones, the purported stronghold of the MP, James Klutse Avedzi.
The situation they fear would not only make other candidates in the upcoming primaries vulnerable but would also affect the fortunes of the party in the 2016 General elections.
“There is no equitable distribution of the forms because I met people who went to some of the registration centers here but were not able to register, because there were no forms. But people in the MP’s stronghold do not encounter such difficulties, because they have enough booklets,” Abraham Denyo,a Ward Chairman in Dzodze told Citi News.
The chairman however denied the allegations. He added that after issuing a booklet to each of the 92 branches, he endorsed and serialized all in order to check infiltration of foreign booklets.
