A 27 year old woman, Sandra Abena Foriwaa has been arrested by the Nkoranza Police for dealing in Counterfeit currencies.
Abena Foriwaa was arrested upon a tip off by a native from Nkoranza.
According to the Nkoranzah Police Commander, DSP Joseph Owusu it is believed she spent some amount of the fake currencies at Fiama in the Nkoranzah North District before her apprehension.
Citi News’ Brong Ahafo Regional Correspondent Kwadwo Brefo reported that the police found on the culprit some fake Ghana Cedis in different denominations.
Kwadwo Brefo also reported that Abena Foriwaa will be arraigned before the Nkoranza Magistrate court after investigations.
