“Winning the biggest prize is the doing of the Lord. This is the beginning of ensuring that my church run uninterrupted,” said ecstatic Apostle Elijah, who is a Founder of Sword of Fire and Faith Ministries in Pokuase in the Greater region.

“I’m very grateful to Tigo for the generator and I will pray for the company to get more customers. I urge every customer to believe in Tigo because its promotions are real,” added Apostle Elijah.

Speaking at the prize presentation ceremony in Kumasi to climax the promotion, the Director of Marketing for Tigo Ghana, Jesse Agyepong said Tigo has a history of rewarding its customers and celebrating them in a special way.

“We are excited we have stirred competition and changed the lives of over 1,000 customers including small business owners, traders, pastors and students,” he noted.

He explained that the company has fulfilled its promise of helping customers cope with the current power crisis whilst offering them platform for communicating with their families, friends and loved ones.

Mr. Agyepong pointed out that the bond between Tigo and its customers is more entrenched, because of a commitment based on an engagement to identify ideal promotions that impact on livelihoods.

Having remained at the forefront of innovation in the telecom industry, Mr Agyepong said the company will continue to provide value-driven voice and data services to Ghanaians.

Through the 90-day promotion, Tigo gave away 93 power generators, 1,260 rechargeable lamps, 450 power banks and 12 power inverters to customers across the country.
