Carmudi nominated for Best Online Auto Portal

Carmudi is proud to announce their nomination as Best Online Auto Portal as part of the 2015 Ghana Auto Awards.

The Ghana Auto Awards were created to provide consumers with sound, comparative information on vehicles, brands, and auto platforms.

The Award winners will be announced at a grand ceremony at Movenpick this October, and will feature the crème de la crème of in the auto industry.

Carmudi is Ghana’s most trusted car market making great waves since its inception in 2014.

Carmudi.com.gh, continues to grow rapidly and has over 10,000 car listings available on its site.  Globally, auto E-Commerce has grown at such a staggering rate that now as many as 80% of new car customers and almost 100% of used car customers begin their car shopping experience online.

With internet and mobile penetration significantly growing in emerging markets, the rate of moving the car shopping experience online is beginning to mirror that of Western Markets. Evidence of this phenomenon can be seen when looking at automotive Google Search Queries.

The Year over Year search growth is astonishing, particularly in Ghana where the growth of searches in the Motor Vehicle category grew 26%.

Carmudi is leading the way for people who want to search for cars in an easy and transparent manner online, and is one of the reasons the company received this prestigious nomination.

Managing Director of Carmudi Ghana, Kobina Amoo, expressed great excitement regarding the nomination. He remarked,  “Our nomination after just a year in operation in Ghana exhibits our commitment to meeting the needs of our clients and the trust in the team.  This goes to show it does not take decades for good products and services to be seen.”
