A total of seven people have been arrested in Tuobodom in the Brong Ahafo Region in connection with the recent shooting incident there.

A vehicle and one house were burnt down in the process. Subsequent reprisal attacks also saw three houses torched.
Speaking to Citi News, the Brong Ahafo Regional Police Commander, DCOP Maxwell Atingani said calm has returned to Tuobodom and the place is under full Police surveillance.
“The place is calm. Three of the five suspects that fired the shots, three of them have been arrested and then also as of yesterday, we picked up four people making seven. One of them, we searched his house and we discovered a locally manufactured short gun with four cartridges. So they are also being interrogated now as to their involvement in the crime.”
