Forensic test conducted on the cloths of Gregory Afoko, brother of the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has confirmed the presence of acid that killed Adam Mahama.
[contextly_sidebar id=”jxaBHxRi76KUm5kO7hr6fZ3R5sM7W1hB”]This is according to the prosecution in the case where Gregory Afoko is facing trial for the murder of NPP Upper East Regional chairman, Adam Mahama.
In their submission to the court opposing a bail application by lawyers for the accused, lead prosecutor Mathew Amponsah informed the court that the forensic report from the Ghana Standards Authority shows the the substance which caused the burns found on the clothing of the accused on the day of the attack on Adams Mahama was acid.
The Police during their investigation into the acid attack seized the clothing believed to have worn by Gregory Afoko on the night of the attack found in his house.
Gregory Afoko who is seeking bail in the high court, has been charged with murder for allegedly pouring acid on Adams Mahama leading to his death.
