The twenty (20) finalists of this year’s Citi FM Write-Away Contest will be announced on Wednesday August 12.
The announcement would precede the semi-final stage of the competition, which is scheduled to come off on Saturday August 15 at Citi FM.
The 20 finalists would be interviewed by a judging panel, on Saturday, after which the top three winners will be chosen for the grand finale.
The criteria for marking entries includes mechanical accuracy, organization, expression, quality of content, among other things.
The overall winner of the 2015 Write-Away contest will be presented with a cash prize of GHc10,000. The first and second runners-up would win GHc5,000 and GHc2,000 respectively.
The Write-Away Contest is sponsored by Students Loan Trust Fund, JUVITA and Finlite and powered by 97.3 Citi FM.
