Five books have been shortlisted for this year’s Africa-Asia Book prize, a project aimed at creating a global competition with an international focus for publications on Africa-Asia while at the same time increasing their visibility worldwide.
Since its inception in 2013, the Africa-Asia Book prize has received entries from academic publications in the Humanities and Social Sciences which have been written by African scholars on an Asian topic or by any other author on Africa-Asia (transnational) linkages.

The winner for this year would be announced during the A-Asia Inaugural Conference Asian Studies in Africa in Accra, Ghana in September 2015.
