Fidelity Bank has renewed its commitment to operational excellence. This is in recognition of the fact that customers deserve the best.

To demonstrate this commitment, a number of activities were held to ensure that its staff are well equipped to delight customers with its service.

These included staff training on Stress Management, Fraud Awareness and being Customer Centric.

Also Executive Management and Heads of Departments interacted with clients in selected branches nationwide to collect feedback that is aimed at improving customer service.

The Chief Operations Officer of Fidelity Bank, Mr. Edward Opare- Donkor explained that, the Bank values its customers and will take advantage of any opportunity to offer them great services.

“All of us who usually work from  the head office have been taken out of our comfort zones and assigned to branches  outside of Accra such as  Tamale, Koforidua, Techiman, Bolga just to mention a few, to  perform various functions at the branch. Some of these functions include Personal Banker, Customer Service officers, Banking Hall Executive, Vault Assistant among others,” he stated.

COO, Mr. Edward Opare- Donkor added that “We want every customer of ours to have a “wow experience” each time they visit our branches and truly recognise the new standard in banking that only Fidelity Bank offers.

The Director of Banking Operations Mr Simon Adu Gyamfi reiterated that “The back is the real Front”. This means that superior customer service can only be derived when the back office provides effective solutions with speed and accuracy.

The climax of the celebrations was a health walk from Ayi-Mensah to the Peduase Logde in Aburi. The Head of Banking Operations Nana Yaw Okyere-Aduachie who is excited about this initiative believes that “a sound mind in a sound body” drives organizational performance and therefore advocated for staff to regularly exercise and stay healthy.

Fidelity Bank is an indigenous Bank working to create a world-class financial institution right here in Ghana. Currently the Bank is the 6th largest Bank in terms of Deposit with almost 80 branches nationwide and 110 ATMs. Fidelity Bank is poised to becoming a Top 3 Bank in Ghana by 2018.
