The Tema Regional Police Command has arrested two suspects who had in their possession various implements with the intention of committing crime.

Speaking at a press briefing in Tema, the Regional Police Commander, DCOP Beatrice Zakpaa Vib-Sanziri provided details on the suspects and their mode of operations.

A Police patrol team on their usual rounds reportedly spotted the suspect driver, Emmanuel Nartey in the company of two others on board a grey and yellow Nissan Almera Taxi cab with registration number GT 3729-14.

According to DCOP Vib-Sanziri, the Police suspects the group “may be part of a syndicate who use iron cutters to break into people’s houses to either steal or rob.”

Emmanuel Nartey has since been charged for preparation to commit crime, possessing implements intended for unlawful entry.

In another development, a 22-year-old man, Robert Nyakeh has also been arrested by the Police patrol team in Tema.
