A Police Constable was found dead this morning at Zorokpome, near the Aflao border in the Volta region.
Although the Police are yet to make an official statement on the death of the officer, residents claim that Constable Wonder Kovey died from a gunshot.
The deceased, said to be in his early 30’s was part an operation conducted in the ketu south municipality yesterday.
The body of Wonder Kovey will be given to his family after an autopsy that will be performed to determine the cause of his death.
Speaking to Citi News, the brother of the deceased Promise Kovey expressed shock at the incidence.
He disclosed that Constable Wonder Kovey joined the Police service in 2013.
Promise is therefore calling on the Police Administration to bring the culprits to book.
