Bird Flu Report: Ban on the sale of live birds

There is presently an outbreak of bird flu in Ghana.

As part of the measures to prevent the spread of the disease, the Ministry of Food and Agriculture has placed a ban on the sale and movement of live poultry.

Despite the ban, some vendors are still doing brisk business in the capital.

Citi News’ Kojo Agyeman visited the Kantamanto poultry market to interact with the vendors and their customers.
