Asamoah Gyan certainly knows how to make a grand entry after he started “paying back” for his big money move to China.

Baby Jet scored the winner in  his debut for his new club Shangai SIPG.

Gyan came on as a substitute and headed home in the 80th minute to make it 2-1 minute and win the game which seemed destined to end in a draw.

The win sent Shanghai SIPG to the top of the Chinese Super League with 41 points from 19 matches. SIPG play against Beijing Gouan on Monday in the 20th round of the Chinese League.

The player had earlier won a penalty which drew the two teams level.

It was a wonderful way for the prolific Ghanaian striker to announce himself to the Chinese league following his transfer from Al Ain last week.

He spent  four years at the UAE club where he helped the club win 3 league titles, a President’s cup and a Super Cup, scoring 113 goals in that time.
