Cabinet meets to review 2015 budget [Photos]

Cabinet today [Wednesday] met to review the 2015 budget at mid-year and also consider supplementary estimates to be submitted to Parliament.

The meeting reviewed strategies to fix the power sector challenges, the performance of the Cedi since January 2015 and its recent appreciation against major trading currencies.

Chaired by the President, John Dramani Mahama, the Cabinet meeting also discussed employment generation through the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), funding of the Digital Migration Project from proceeds to be derived from auctioning redundant spectrums among others.
The Minister for Finance will be presenting to Parliament, on behalf of the President, the Mid-year review of the Budget and Supplementary Estimates for 2015.
