The Peoples National Convention (PNC) says it will reposition itself to resist any attempt to rig the 2016 general elections.

[contextly_sidebar id=”aWJFstXuodjaIrRlqYhOoJvVWlOJ9u2i”]The party’s General Secretary, Bernard Mornah claims the PNC has been cheated in previous elections, hence their preparedness.

Bernard Mornah who was alarmed by the results of the Talensi by-election asserted that it was a stolen verdict.

He accused the Electoral Commission of skewing the results in favor of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).

“You are happy that you people have stolen the election: so in 2016 this is what you are going to do, is a disaster: this is fraudulent election. The Electoral Commission supported you to cheat us.”

In a sharp rebuttal, a former Member of Parliament for Talensi, John Akologo Tia discounted the PNC chief scribe’s assertion.

He said the NDC had a clean record of winning elections and will consolidate their electoral gains in 2016.
