A 13-year old JHS pupil, Barima Kwadwo Bonsu has been enstooled as the chief of Pakyi No 1, a town in Ashanti region.
Barima Kwadwo Bonsu of the Salvation Army in Patasi was taken through some rituals at the palace on Saturday to complete his enstoolment.
The queen mother of Pakyi No 1, Nana Yaa Asantewaa Bonsu, who is also the mother of the enstooled chief said she was ordered by Otumfuo to enstool her son and wouldn’t go contrary to tradition.
Nana Yaa Bonsu said a lot of people have criticized her, but she believes tradition must be maintained.
