This forms part of a strategy that focuses on empowering Ghanaians with quality healthcare and health information.

[contextly_sidebar id=”Y1NPSo56qR5dHSWGK98cU4E2veUhiyvA”]During the live chat, Dr. Byrite Asamoah, a resident doctor of the multi-award winning television show – Healthline – will decipher the myth surrounding Cancer and respond to questions from the general public on this particular health concern.

Commenting on the live chat, Nana Yaa Ofori-Koree, Head of Vodafone Ghana Foundation and Sustainability explained that “cancer is not necessarily a death sentence, but rather a disease affecting a particular part of the body with different forms and causes. The live chat will enable Ghanaians to conveniently interact with Dr. Asamoah on this all important health problem and the best steps in addressing it. The live chat will also feature how to effectively handle patients with cancer concerns.’.

Over the years, the Healthline television show has paid for and arranged both life-saving and life-changing surgeries for over 100 deprived patients across Ghana.

The public is encouraged to send their questions ahead via Twitter to @VodafoneGhana and Facebook to www. facebook.com/vodafoneghana.
