The National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) final rally is currently underway at the Catholic Park in Tongo.
Thousands of residents in the Talensi constituency have gathered to listen to the President and the various party leaders scheduled to address the rally.
After days of intensive campaigning, the NDC hopes to convince the people of Talensi to vote for their candidate, BT Baba.
The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Talensi Member of Parliament (MP) resigned after he was elevated to the position of a Paramount Chief in Talensi.
Although the NPP hopes to retain the seat, the NDC is rigorously campaigning to wrestle the seat from them.
