They have pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Charles A. Chester said Mrs Mercy Coffie, a businesswoman, was the complainant and the sole importer of Sano Sprays, detergents, and its related products from Israel.

Chief Inspector Chester said the accused persons resided at Zongo Lane, Korle -Gonor, and Timber Market, all suburbs of Accra.

The prosecution said when the complainant’s husband conducted an audit at their warehouse in Accra, he discovered that sprays, detergents, and other accessories valued at GH₡143,742.00 had been stolen.

Therefore, on May 11, the complainant reported the matter to the Police, who arrested Aminu and Gyasi with some of the products.

During interrogation, Aminu mentioned Haruna as his supplier. Haruna also mentioned Amadu and Yakubu as his supplier.

The prosecution said Yakubu also indicated that it was one Issah and Ido who supplied him with the goods but failed to lead the Police to arrest them.

The Court presided over by Ms Ellen Vivian Amoah has granted them bail to the sum of GH₡40,000.00 with four sureties, each one to be justified.

They are to reappear on July 30.
