Talensi by-election: Nana campaigns for NPP candidate [Photos]

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential candidate Nana Akufo-Addo is currently in the Talensi constituency to campaign for the party’s parliamentary candidate, Thomas Duanab Wuni.

The Electoral Commission set July 7 to organize a by-election in Talensi because the MP, Robert Nachinab Doameng resigned his post after becoming the paramount chief for the Tolon Traditional Area.

A member of the NPP’s campaign team in Talensi, Musah Superior speaking to Citi News, said Nana Addo “is leading a powerful team in Talensi and we are articulating our position to the people.”

“We are telling them about what we stand for, what our candidate stands for and what the NDC as a political party haven’t done for them. We are confident that we are going to win and improve on the margin we had in the last election,” he added.

Nana Addo’s running mate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is also in the constituency.
