An interested presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen has expressed joy at the success of Mr. Paul Afoko who has provisionally won the party’s chairmanship post.

Even before Afoko could be confirmed by the Electoral Commission as the ultimate winner of the hotly contested poll in Tamale where the party held its national delegates conference on Saturday, Alan Cash (as he is also known), poured his heart out and said it portends a good omen for the party.

Alan told Adom TV that the win signifies a coming change in the national elections in 2016 which has manifested first in the NPP.

He said his joy stems from the fact that Afoko is hardworking and desirous to lead the party to victory in 2016.
