An Accra magistrate court has set 13th July, 2015 to rule on a case involving a medical doctor, Ali Gabass who has been accused of sexually defiling a sixteen year old boy.
This followed the submission of addresses by lawyers of the accused after they closed their defense a fortnight ago.

He was hopeful that the judge will consider the filed addresses, and the judgment on 13th July will be a true reflection of justice.
“We are hoping that these addresses, once they have been filed will be considered by the judge so that by the 13th we can bring this case to a close,” he added, “…nothing short of justice will be a big blow for us that is why we have been holding on.”
The medical officer, Gabass of Efia Nkwanta hospital is facing two counts of defiling a child less than 16 years and having unnatural carnal knowledge, charges he has pleaded not guilty.
Dr. Ali Gabass was arrested in October 2014 after media reports alleging sexual activities with the senior high school student.
