About 24 incumbent Members of Parliament of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) will not have the opportunity to return to the House in the 2016 general elections.
This is because they lost their bid in the party’s primaries which was held on Saturday.
They include six female MPs and 19 male MPs.
Some of them include Dr. Richard Anane of Nhyiaeso Constituency, Dr. Afriyie Akoto of Kwadoso and former presidential aspirant, Francis Addai-Nimoh (Mampong Constituency).
