Ken Kuranchie, New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary aspirant in the Okaikoi North Constituency has said his motive for going into politics is to champion the course of change in the country.
According to him, he has over the years criticized politicians for not doing much to transform the lives of citizens.

I was harsh with Rawlings, Kufuor, Atta Mills and I have been harsh with John Mahama, it’s been part of me. I think that if I can talk so much and criticize so much, why don’t I go in there and try to make a change,” he disclosed on Eyewitness News on Friday.
Ken Kuranchie who is the editor of the Daily Searchlight newspaper, said instead of sitting “on radio and talk about change, why don’t I go in there and see whether I can implement that change.”
“I want to challenge myself, can I do something different from what have been done so far,” he added.
Delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will go to the polls on Saturday to elect parliamentary candidates to represent the party in the 2016 elections.
Ken Kuranchie who is contesting with three other aspirants was hopeful of wining majority of the votes cast.
