The Bible Society of Ghana has donated 200 pieces of blankets to the Citi Fm/Metro TV outreach, the project to help the victims of last Wednesday’s flood and fire disaster.
A fire incident at the GOIL filling station at Circle amidst flooding on June 3 claimed over a hundred and property.
Earlier on Thursday, Citi FM, Metro TV and its partners put smiles on the faces of over thousands of people at Adabraka who were affected by the flood and fire incident.
The project, which was spearheaded by Citi FM and Metro TV, in collaboration with Helping Hand Medical Outreach and its partners donated items and other essentials to the victims in the Adabraka area.
Reverend Erasmus N. B. Odonkor, General Secretary of the Bible Society of Ghana, during the presentation said it is their hope that the blankets will be of tremendous benefit to those affected by the flood.
