The Ideal Finance Group has donated medical supplies, drugs and assorted items worth over GHS10,000 and an undisclosed sum of money to the 37 Military Hospital for the upkeep of flood and fire victims on admission at the hospital.

The donation was in response to calls for assistance for the victims of the June 3 flood and fire incident in Accra.

The 37 Military Hospital is one of the key facilities treating victims and is in need of supplies and funds to give them the best medical care.

Speaking at the presentation, the group CEO of Ideal Finance Group Dr. Nii Kotei Dzanie thanked the management and staff of the hospital for the professionalism they have exhibited in handling the victims of the crisis.

“On behalf of the management and staff of the Ideal Group, I’d want to thank you for the care and the professionalism you’ve exhibited in taking care of the victims. It’s a concern to all Ghanaians and us as a corporate institution and we know you alone cannot take care of the victims. We are therefore donating this token to support your efforts.”

Dr. Nii Kotei Dzanie also called on individuals and corporate bodies to rally support for the various institutions taking care of the flood and fire victims.

More than 150 people died while others sustained various degrees of injury on Wednesday, June 3, in an inferno at the GOIL Filling Station at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle, propelled by floods, which also claimed lives in other parts of the Metropolis.
