Chief Inspector Kofi Atimbire told the Court that the complainant, Abena Yaaba is a petty trader and an auntie to the victim.

The convict is the boyfriend of the complainant and they all live in the same room at Alajo in Accra.

Prosecution said on May 26, at about 20:00 hours, the complainant returned from town after plying her trade only to see Kwakye busily having sex with the victim in their room.

Chief Inspector Atimbire said the complainant became annoyed and started whipping Kwakye with cane before he let the victim go away.

The complainant then called the attention of a number people who helped to arrest Kwakye and dragged him to the Police Station at Tesano.

Prosecution said a medical form was issued to the victim for medical examination and treatment.

Chief Inspector Atimbire said during interrogation, Kwakye claimed he had had sex with her on three occasions.
